I bought this to measure the outside of our house in preparation for painting. While I can say that this product works pretty well, it's not that easy to use for more advanced functions. Also, it seemed to me that it doesn't work very well outdoors. In bright light, he found it difficult to take longer measurements. Of course it was only $20 so in a way you get what you pay for. And I will eventually benefit from it. But for this application, it was much easier for me to use the good old tape measure and do the calculations the old-fashioned way. Three stars because it really works.
