No longer used (Alternative Beeswax)
I was looking for a vegan substitute for beeswax to make ointments and balms. It's been on my stovetop for 20 minutes and well above melting point but refuses to melt in my herb oil. Please note that after about 45-60 minutes the wax REALLY melted into my oil, but I don't think this is normal and I had to heat it well past the "melting point" and for too long = (Maybe if If you're reusing it for something else isn't too bad, but if you're also trying to find a vegan beeswax solution I wouldn't recommend this.
