I don't know what "Estwing PRO" is. I don't remember seeing it in the Estwing online catalogue. This listing advertised the Sure Strike Hammer. The one I received does not appear to be from this product line. Is it important? Probably not. Also, I figured I was buying a US made instrument, so I went back to the listing to see if I had missed the details that it was made in Taiwan. The listing includes this detail. But pay attention to my photo where the product does not match what is in the ad. That wacky engraving on the head makes it look like a rebranded Harbor Freight tool. In my experience, Taiwanese goods are better than Chinese ones, and American manufacturing isn't what it used to be. But I wanted to buy something FROM America made by an American because I live and work here and wanted to keep my money here. I'm disappointed in Estwing and will buy Vaughan next time.
