I was expecting an American Hammer like all the other Estwings only to find out when it's coming MADE IN TAIWAN Shame on the Estwing but it will do what I need.
Made in Taiwan. The diameter of the handle is larger than expected. It looks like a regular hammer made for people with small hands. The pen reminded me of the toy instruments my son had when he was little.
This is a great medium duty hammer that fits perfectly in my small tool box. I use this hammer for everything and it doesn't disappoint. I'll probably buy a second one just to have a spare. Great hammer for the money
I was looking locally for a 12 ounce ball head hammer and was only able to find 16 ounces. Having had good experiences with Estwing products in the past, I decided to order this USA made product. The build quality is good and I hope it will last for many years. I would buy this hammer again.

Nice hammer I was looking for a small ball joint and found that estwing makes a whole range of sizes. This hammer is perfect in my workshop for small projects and jobs that don't require a 24-ounce hammer. The wooden handle fits nicely into the steel hammer head and I've never seen it dangling. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because this range of ball face hammers are made in China. I was expecting the hammer to be made in the USA like most other estwings products so no 5 stars.
I don't know what "Estwing PRO" is. I don't remember seeing it in the Estwing online catalogue. This listing advertised the Sure Strike Hammer. The one I received does not appear to be from this product line. Is it important? Probably not. Also, I figured I was buying a US made instrument, so I went back to the listing to see if I had missed the details that it was made in Taiwan. The listing includes this detail. But pay attention to my photo where the product does not match what is in the ad.
