This is a very good scale. I'm impressed with its peak performance and accuracy. I especially like it to weigh groceries below. An ounce or two of food on a plate. To use, simply place the plate on the scale and press the tare button. This resets it to zero given the weight of the dish. Now enter the foods you want to weigh and you will get the weight to the decimal place. Much easier to use than the old spring scales I had before and they are more accurate. Time will tell the life and durability of the battery. But so far I'm satisfied.
