Review on 🧽 Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Kitchen Scrub Sponges, Ideal for Dishes and Kitchen Cleaning, Pack of 9 Scrub Sponges by Sonya Dunn

It used to be amazing - not so good now

There have been some unfortunate changes since I bought my last batch. For example: - The yellow sponge material used to be stiffer. Now it feels worn as soon as you use it. - The yellow part of the sponge is thinner than before. - The Scotch-Brite layer is twice as thin as before, so it wears out quickly. - You get an unpleasant light yellow color of the foam even after several uses. The old sponges released a minimal amount of dye on first use and then no visible dye. I had the last unused "old" sponge for comparison. The photos accompanying this review are from the first use of both sponges. They were washed and wrung for visual comparison, then whipped and pressed onto a white plate for lather comparison. for dishes. They're probably still good for cleaning sinks. This assumes that the peel is already yellow, or that it will eventually become yellow.

Cons
  • Sad gear
