Review on WIX Filters - 51521 Spin-On Lube Filter: Reliable Performance in a Convenient Pack of 1 by Chris Goldsby

Wix oil filters have been around for a long time and are known for their superior performance. I can only give 3 stars for this as it was the wrong filter I received. To be fair, the part number for this particular filter is for my truck, but when I lay under the truck and try to screw the filter on, it just won't turn on. The oil from the engine is in an oil container on the floor, so of course I can't drive this car into town (20) miles! So I met a guy at an auto parts store who used to work at a truck dealership of the same type as mine and was told they changed the filter types mid-year so no wonder they don't fit. Now I know I need to check the filter info when I get it from Revain, especially the OD! Didn't bother to return the filter as it was covered in oil and scratches, lesson learned.
