It's an aftermarket battery with good build quality, good documentation and a reasonable price but don't expect the equivalent to a 6 amp DeWalt for $39. I used it in my 7-1/2" circular saw and it's equivalent to a 2 amp OEM DeWalt. My 4 and 5 amp DeWalts beat the pants off it.I'll run it through a couple charge cycles and try it on my blower and sawzall. I'll update my review if any better.UPDATE:. After a few charge cycles I'm sticking with 3 stars. Like the battery: it's not great/it's not bad - just ok. Performance is better on a warmer day and ok in a low drawing tool like a drill or impact but saws, blower and grinders are marginal for a claimed 6 amp . Reviews that state just as good might be running in different tools or not as hard as I am.OEM DeWalt batteries seem to be coming down in price for a 2 pack from reputable vendors so I'd be hard pressed to pay $39 again. The price came down since I bought it. Now about $31.50 free shipping so a better option to $115 for a pair of OEM 5 amp.I bought this because Project Farm gave it a thumbs up on his YouTube vid; he's not always on the mark tho.On the positive side it's less likely to be stolen.Also. Only buy from the Waitley store. There's cheaper Waitley batteries but might be knock off knock offs. Who'da figured !
