From the instruction manual it is not clear whether something needs to be done with the foam filter (with what frequency to change, or rinse with what means, etc.). Everything else is written about the filter, not a word. The manufacturer could have included at least one spare filter in the kit - that would be the best. Pros below: Simple and clear in operation. Nothing extra. Easy to pour water. A large volume of the water compartment, with a maximum filling is enough for 2 working days (bought for the office). Cons below: The whole filter is just a piece of foam rubber, but maybe that's not bad - you don't have to bother with buying filters, which, as a result, cost more than the device itself.
