Review on 🚰 InSinkErator Evolution Series QCB-AM Black Sink Baffle with Anti-Microbial Quiet Collar by Joseph Harkins

The original baffle that came with our InSinkErator was bad. It had slits in the valves that did nothing but capture food waste and was generally difficult to pass through and dispose of food waste. These slots eventually ruptured, causing the baffle to fail. This replacement septum does not have these slits, allowing the flaps to slide over and down into the disposal. It does exactly what it is intended for. Others have complained that the rubber is very thin. It's thinner than the original baffle but seems to help food waste get through and into the grinder. It prevents water and debris from sloshing out of the tank during operation and helps reduce noise levels. Works better than the original, I recommend.
