🚰 InSinkErator Evolution Series QCB-AM Black Sink Baffle with Anti-Microbial Quiet Collar Review

I bought this product from Anatoly Akin. The product has no holes that would help drain water better. The video shows that the water stays there and does not flow. BE CAREFUL FROM THE PRODUCT AKINA ANATOLY! I returned the product and bought it from Revain paying a few cents more. Let's see what's up.

Very poor quality of materials and workmanship. Very hard rubber, not flexible like an OEM part that needs to be replaced. Poor Form - Places that should have been holes are filled with rubber. A broken OEM part that's a few years old is still better than this one. It is listed with the brand name "InSinkErator" in the title and "InSinkErator" as the seller. But it's pretty clear that this is NOT an OEM part. There is no branding on the part itself. I think it's a FAKE. I will not return it…

The first thing that catches your eye is that for some odd reason, Revain is showing the baffle in the photo ABOVE - it's inserted point down into the sink hole! I read some of the reviews before buying and other reviewers seem to have had assembly and operation difficulties - perhaps because they (accidentally) installed the baffle incorrectly under the influence of a (confusing) photo. The original baffle that came with our InSinkErator was bad. It had slits in the valves that did nothing but capture food waste and was generally difficult to pass through and dispose of food waste. These slots eventually ruptured, causing the baffle to fail. This replacement septum does not have these slits, allowing the flaps to slide over and down into the disposal.
