Hypertech always seems to deliver the best products. I don't see any difference in fuel consumption. But why look there if I don't drive an economy car. The car starts better, accelerates better and passes the California smog test. So you don't have to worry about replacing the exhaust valves when it's time to test. Even with Hypertech's low-temp fan switch and standard T-Stat 195, the car runs a little hotter after installation. Not overheated (around 220 degrees) but so far the weather has only reached the mid or high 80's. Of course it gets hotter in summer. The best thing is that some manufacturers have a circuit board with the release disk attached and you have to glue your standard release disk to their circuit board. Causes installation problems. This one, as you can see from the picture, is a direct replacement for your prom.
