Easy to use. All I had to do was plug the USB stick into my computer and my computer recognized the drive immediately. I bought it specifically for burning CDs from Windows Media Player. Once connected, Media Player recognized it and I was able to pop in a CD and burn the one I wanted. I haven't had a chance to use it as a DVD player yet, but I didn't buy it for that. , so I'm not really pushing this feature, but I'm sure that if it plays and burns CDs, it will do the same for DVDs as advertised.
