The system is very robustly built. At first glance, it looked like a 5 star product.I had to remove 1 star because the unit didn't arrive with a red pressure relief button installed. I contacted the company, and they confirmed they no longer include this feature. Sounds like they reduced costs by removing it, but didn't update the advertising info.I removed the 2nd star because I am now chasing small leaks: 1. Inlet and outlet leaks. I installed the 1" brass Pex adapter with 15 turns of teflon tape. Other reviews stated you should use at least 12. I was able to easily bottom out the adapter until the hex flange hit the filter housing. This tells me that the filter housing threads have little/no taper (1.5 degrees on standard NPT designs.). I removed the adapter and re-installed more tape. It was definitely tighter, but I could still bottom out the adapter. I installed the unit, hoping for the best. I can confirm there is a very slow/slight weeping leak at the joint. Exact same issue on outlet of filter housing. 2. Filter housing o-rings: I have a similar very slow weeping leak on the o-ring joint of the blue filter housings. I may have over-tightened them, so I backed off on the torque and will see if it improves. If that works, the install torque is pretty touchy. I used silicone grease on the o-rings as instructed.Fixing leaks after installing with Pex is not going to be fun. Looks like I will be buying a pex ring removal tool.
