So I bought this in December but didn't install it until January 4th. About a month later I was having trouble balancing my Mercedes. In the morning one side or back sagged. It would always be one-sided. I took it to my mechanic and he said the pump blew up. (It was a new pump.) I replaced it. Still the same problem. I took it to Mercedes and was told I had a blown wire and that the new rack was not responding to the STAR diagnostics. it is not raised or lowered manually. Upon inspection, it turned out that the rack is defective, did not respond. However, upon removal, it turned out that the rack was jammed. The strut stuck about 1 1/2 inches over the right side causing the pump to be crooked and overloaded to straighten the car. Replaced by Arnott and all problems are gone. Spend more money and get the best part for your Mercedes.
