I read many reviews before purchasing and one thing is clear - hand sizes vary wildly! These L size gloves fit me perfectly as compression gloves are generally soft. I am a woman with large hands that most women's gloves do not fit. I have long fingers with a medium circumference (ring size 7.5). Measured palm size 3.3 inches. The fingers on the gloves are long, but they touch my fingers just below the top knuckle. Overall a good choice for me. However, some people have thinner or thicker fingers, which can make the gloves looser or tighter. The length varies depending on the type of hand. There is no other option but to try them on so you know exactly how they fit. However, I love them because they fit my hand perfectly. When they're on I feel a slight squeeze, but when I take them off I realize there's a real squeeze. They seem to help with pain in hands and fingers. I'm not feeling as warm as I expected, so for cool weather outdoor use I'll probably add a fingerless wrist warmer. Again, this is an individual problem and will vary from person to person.
