This box online looks like the perfect replacement for the cable junction box on your wall. Actually getting it is another story. This crate was broken in several places, which is impossible for a crate that has to be outside 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hinges are weak and broken. The plastic is very thin and cheap, so it broke during shipping or storage. Finding a good box of this style was a chore for me, but I have a recommendation. My situation was that I had an 8 way splitter that I needed to install and place on the side of my house. I ended up returning it and buying: CableGuard CG-1000XL Coaxial Demarcation Housing Waterproof weatherproof outdoor cable 8.25" x 8" x 5" high impact thermoplastic (internal dimensions) Hinged box with self-sealing connectors Wi-Fi camera. Yes, it's a bit more money and frankly more than I expected to complete this project, but this new box will easily last 10 times longer than this cheap one.
