Review on FJGEAR 2 Port USB 2.0 HDMI KVM Switch for PC, Windows - Keyboard Mouse Switcher (Not Compatible with Wireless Mouse Keyboard, No Power Required) by Anthony Mcgarry

I bought this to use my Mac laptop and desktop PC on one monitor with a keyboard and mouse. My impression is that if I connect both monitor cables, keyboard and mouse of course, the Mac laptop should appear on my desktop screen when switching. This doesn't happen. Switching back and forth allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on the laptop, but that's about it. Nothing happens on the monitors. I tried different configurations and it just didn't switch screens. I'm disappointed. I still have to "look" at my laptop screen while using it. I like the fact that I can use a keyboard and mouse, but I'm not sure I would buy them just for that function. Please let me know if I'm wrong about the intended purpose. ** UPDATE: This thing is driving me crazy. He constantly switches back and forth with keyboard and mouse. He refuses to use both monitors. Unfortunately, I find this device completely useless. It's broken? I am so disappointed. MONITOR SWITCHING DOES NOT WORK.
