Review on Efficient SHURFLO White City Wall Mount Pressure Regulated Water Entry - Ultimate Water Pressure Control by Jake Hillyer

Installing the unit in my small house was easy and straight forward, the problem arose after I pressurized the system. The device claims it can take up to 125psi and reduce to 55psi. I have a 1 inch gravity feed tube that is closer to 50-60psi and as soon as I opened it fully the plastic wing nut and pressure fitting failed immediately. With no other solution, I found the 1/2 inch ear bow perfectly matched the threads after wrapping sealing tape around it. While the system is completely sealed and there isn't even a dripper. Please note that this solution will void the warranty in a number of ways and will likely put pressure on the connection with the PEX piping going directly there which may cause the move to fail. Hope this helps someone with the same problem.
