Based on previous reviews here I decided to buy this to test the moisture level of the wood. I have no idea how accurate the measurements are, but they seem consistent, and that's actually more important to me. Some time later, when I learned what he was telling me, I found I could quickly identify what wood was ready to be used in my wood stove. Now when I get things in I use this indicator to put items on my dryer so I already know what's coming next and it's worked well so far.
