Straight out of the box it should be easy to install. IT DID NOT HAPPEN! 1- It took hours of fiddling and changing cables to get it working. How difficult is it to connect HDMI and USB2.0 (printer cable) from each computer to the "box"? Not difficult right? NOT RIGHT! Well, the damn thing didn't work right away. As far as I can tell (guess) my 2 computers were set to different resolutions, each incompatible with the opposing monitor. 2- I ended up with a huge web of wires on my desktop. I can't hide it because I need to be able to press a button to switch. Worst of all, the HDMI and USB go to the rear, while the mouse, keyboard, and speaker cables go to the front. TERRIBLE DESIGN! 3- I don't know how long it will last, but if it doesn't work I won't replace it with a similar design. 4- Before switching, you must stop everything that is using the speakers (e.g. playing music). Otherwise, the audio will continue to play through the computer's internal speaker (and you know how bad that sounds).
