This is a good quality basic brush. I've painted a few Adirondack chairs street paint in the past and it's held up well, even between slats, grooves, and corners. small detail brush for true angles which I didn't get with this one but overall it worked great. The handle is smooth wood and I haven't had any splinters or problems with it. It's durable and holds up well even with a little pressure. The bristles are not magic bristles that don't fall out. I definitely had to pick up a few brushes here and there while painting them, but it wasn't as much of a constant struggle as some of the natural hair brushes I've tried or the really cheap chip brushes. to clean it up afterwards, but I'll probably stick with the same color in the future, or something darker like black. I couldn't get it clean enough to use white after dark (but I'm no pro either). I would buy it again for more of my painting projects. Overall I would recommend it.
