Disappointed. I thought the description said I would get three different sized brushes which would get three brushes exactly the same size.

I have a painting project. This size is ideal for woodwork and wall detailing. The bristles are soft and do not fall out immediately.

I needed a new brush to paint some interior trim and this 2 inch brush from Revain Basics did the job well. Polyester bristles are smooth, soft and spread the paint easily and evenly on the wood. It has a durable wooden handle which I prefer to plastic. Easy to clean with water for latex paint or solvent for oil based paint.

At first it looked like a good quality brush, but after painting a small bathroom, a lot of bristles started coming out. That's the worst thing a brush can do. now i had to pick the bristles of a brush out of a freshly painted wall. Not worth the trouble. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Lowes and pay for a quality brush. I threw this away after use rather than washing it up to use again.

The fit and feel is good, with a wooden handle. It's a clean shape with good taper. The seams are tight and strong. It's made of good materials with good cleaning instructions on the lid depending on what type of paint you're using. These bristles are of better quality than the cheapest brushes. This is a good option that you can reuse instead of throwing away. Paint Control is great for use around the home, including smaller trim pieces, as long as you can use a 2" size on them.

I've been working on repainting my kitchen cabinets for a long time and really needed a 2 inch brush to replace the one that didn't finish the project. While this one was more expensive than this one, this one seems to be much better made. The bristles have a better feel, softer but firm enough to manage well. The bristles are of good density to hold paint and apply evenly to the surface, flexible enough but strong. The bristles are approximately 2.5 inches long and the total length of the brush from end to end is just over 9 inches.
