Works exactly as described, this is the normal length for an adapter so it will stick out after HDMI is connected. to the display port. However, what didn't work is using this adapter instead of the HDMI angle adapter so it doesn't stick out more than it already does, doesn't work. I thought a 90 degree right angle HDMI adapter would reduce the length of cable protruding out the back of my computer case, but unfortunately both this adapter and the right angle adapter don't work. Overall, it does exactly what it says on the tin and isn't unremarkable given its normal size. I will test and verify 4K. So the total 3.75 starts right now. decent price. *Update* - I have decided to return this adapter for the main reason that it no longer works when I turn on my tower. For some reason I can't figure out when I turn the computer off and on again, the monitor using the adapter doesn't see a signal, but my other monitor only shows half of the screen, indicating the monitor is recognized. Turning the monitor off and back on doesn't work, but unplugging and plugging it back in works. I checked first by swapping my monitors with 2 different HDMI cables, no matter which monitor or even TV that uses the HDMI DP adapter has the same problem of not being recognized. Switching monitor 1 and 2 in the settings does not help. It looks like the adapter stopped connecting after about a week of use. I will be returning this adapter. Now change the total stars to 1.
