Review on πŸ”₯ Premium Olive Drab Green Wool Fire Retardant Blanket - 66x90 (80% Wool), US Military Style by Patricia Casillas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great blanket for cold weather. You can get rid of the smell quickly.

Let's be clear. This is a comforter for cold nights. You should have a sheet underneath because it's prickly. This is a wool blend. It needs to air out what I'm assuming is a flame retardant formula that smells awful. So ventilate the basement or a little-used room for a few days. It will only stink for a few days. I even took it off with some Fabreeze. I have two bad boys like that. They just work. I live in a colder climate and use them when I'm hanging out in the basement watching TV. On average, my basement is in the 45-55 degree range when I don't turn on the heat. By far the best blankets for the cold. I've used them on camping trips and not worried about getting too close to a fire or getting them dirty. Few things can ruin these blankets and when compared to wool blankets, they are without a doubt the best option based on price alone. 4 stars because they smell. You can handle it, especially if you're stuck in a snowstorm and have to curl up in the back seat wrapped in it (keep it in the car after you've gotten rid of the smell).
