Review on Delta Faucet RP25513 Stem Assembly by Troy Kocur

Revainrating 5 out of 5

easy once you know the secret

I had to contact Delta for instructions on how to install this spare on the cold side to make the faucet rotate clockwise. Now that it's installed, the faucet won't drip! Great spare part! Here's the secret: out of the box, this part will likely fit the hot water handle without adjustments. If replacing a cold water handle: Take a photo of the existing cold water configuration before disassembling (ensure you have a good view of the flat side of the D-handle), shut off the water completely, loosen/remove the lock nut and the existing stem, install the new part making sure you place the small piece of plastic in the same place as the original, tighten it (the nut), use the pliers to tighten the brass stem turn so that it is flat. The D-bar side is the same as the original part, install the faucet handle. To attempt; it shouldn't leak. Leave.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • I don't remember
