The batteries slide easily into the base of the drill and if you have other Black+Decker 20v tools the batteries are interchangeable making this drill even more attractive. This is a chuckless drill so you don't have to keep track of the small chuck. You will need drill bits as these aren't supplied, but a two-headed screwdriver (Philips and a slotted head) is supplied, and there's even storage on the drill itself. The drill has a locking button so it's safe to use around children and you can adjust the torque with the marked ring around the collar of the drill. I am an elderly woman and an avid handyman. I don't have much strength in my shoulder, so I appreciate how easy this exercise is, but I'm afraid it won't be strong enough. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it has enough power for 90% of the tasks I will be using it for. Things like assembling furniture, renovating my house, hanging cabinets or pictures, mounting a TV on the wall, etc. The compact size is a plus when working in small spaces.
