I love how the fan looks when the lights are on and the remote control features are great. Install the ceiling socket correctly. I had to drill some new holes to center it. It's like a pedestal fan with a ceiling mount. The ceiling base sheet metal is thin and simple cylindrical shape, not thick and decorative like normal ceiling fan. I could bend it with my hand. The fan blades and the cover are made of plastic. The fan speed is very good. 3 color rendering lamps (daylight, cold and warm) are good! I like it, but it doesn't feel like the structural quality of your average ceiling fan. It should cost around $80, but it's an innovative idea and look. By changing the basic design that covers the wiring and using slightly thicker steel, this fan is greatly improved. Even thicker metal for the fastening tabs would not hurt.
