Works well and feels solid. I use it to store an extra set of house keys outside if needed. It fits securely on the handle of my sliding glass door. Not a single soul has ever touched him. As with all locks, including those on your front door, anything can be picked if someone chooses to. How secure is it, how secure is your door? How many near you is someone likely to try to hack? These are all factors that affect whether that lock is "secure". I use it now at my dad's house so the guardian can call me if needed to get the code and enter the house. It has saved me twice this week from having to turn around and open the door for someone on my way to work. The code changes after I issue it, and sometimes I can just release the lock if I want. It is superior to the alternatives. If someone wants to break into your house, they will still enter, regardless of whether you have a box of keys or not.
