I got this particular item because my new MacBook was also gold. Perfect, right? Yeah it was, until the case began cracking and falling apart at the corners out of absolutely nowhere. As the computer for which I bought this item was a backup (I can count on both hands the number of times I've used this laptop since I purchased it in January), there should've been no reason why the case began breaking like it did. Literal pieces have broken off of this case. I've had computer cases on laptops for years and have never had this happen. I suppose you get what you pay for.
