The case itself is not particularly important. My Pi comes in its own very nice case, although that's just in case I don't want to use it with a touchscreen, e.g. B. if I use it as a media center. I wish the gold colored heat spreader was a bit shorter as it interferes with my normal case and adds unnecessary stress to my Pi's board. Installing on the board itself isn't difficult, but installing and using the firmware was difficult for me. since I'm new to Linux. The screen and touch controls flipped based on where I felt it was natural for them to navigate and took about half an hour to troubleshoot (again new to Linux) as I couldn't find any commands that worked right away. I still really like this setting when using the battery. I can only seem to get it working with Raspbian, but I'll eventually figure out how to get it working with RetroPi when I have time and get some ROMs. Worth the money if you ask me!
