Last weekend I installed two of these lights in a rental I was renovating. The goods were very well packed. The glass cylinder was protected on all sides with at least 3 inches of styrofoam. The installation process was easy and only took a few minutes per lamp. There's no insulation between the bracket and the mounting box, meaning it's easier to route the screws in place without crap falling in your eyes (maybe not good if you're mounting them on a poorly insulated upstairs ceiling assemble). screws. Overall they look great. I am very happy. I was looking for lights that are easy to install and require little maintenance since they were installed for rent. I also wanted brackets that would make it easy to change bulbs. I love that these lights don't pick up dead bugs or collect dust. The lights look modern, but not overly modern. I mean, I don't think the light fixture is going to look dated any time soon. I'll buy about half a dozen more to complete the project. Also, I think the bad reviews on this product are actually aimed at the other lights on this site (weird that they set up their Revain page this way). I can't imagine the glass falling out of the 3 lights I installed unless installed incorrectly. The screws go all the way through the pre-drilled hole in the glass and it's pretty easy to see if the glass is hung correctly. However, I did handle the glass with the utmost care when installing it. Anyhow, I'm glad I found them, they seem pretty good and perfect for renting out.
