Update: 2000cc oxygen absorbers will not work. They were NOT picking up oxygen and I checked to confirm and I was right. I wasted Mylar bags. I recommend that you seal a food item in mylar bags with an oxygen scavenger. Check the bag the next day to see if it has shrunk. As it shrinks, seal in more survival food since you've tested the sinks before placing in a large bucket for long-term storage. These are 5 gallon bags which are durable and fit my needs. I'm only buying 10 bags because I'm going to start storing groceries long-term. I will order more after I fill and save them.
