Review on Minka Lavery Lighting 1974 1 138 Fixture by Morgan Ostwalt

Excellent quality bra!

This wall light is a beautiful example of quality workmanship and style. This is of course the Mission/Craftsman style, which is very attractive in many situations. The build quality is excellent. The metal base is very heavy and beautifully finished. The glass insert is also well made and it's a very thick glass with a nice subtle finish that allows light to shine through. I already had the electrical boxes firmly attached to the walls, so this installation was a breeze. The supplied traverse is firmly connected to the box (I have metal boxes), then the bracket is placed on the threaded insert. It has a beautiful bronze cover that attaches to the electrical box. Connecting the cable isn't difficult at all, although you'll need a second pair of hands to hold the device next to the box (the device is heavy, this certainly doesn't detract from the quality of this device). It could be a 100w incandescent but I used the equivalent of an LED (soft white) and the glow it gives off is beautiful. The light shines both through and up and down from the open ends. This is a great bra and I highly recommend it.
