I am happy with my choice.
It's always nice to see dead spots. The position of the mirror should be based on the shape of your mirrors. The mirror should be installed in a place where a larger view opens up. I placed the mirrors closer to the body at the top where the image is not important to the driver. This mirror looks great on my car mirrors. I was worried it might look ugly on the car mirror, but it doesn't. I took the time to choose a design and visibility over many others and I settled on this one. I am happy with my choice.
