Review on Hiware 35 Oz Glass Carafe – Stainless 🍹 Steel Lid – Perfect Water Pitcher & Ice Tea Maker by Tim Larsen

We originally bought it to keep half in the fridge. Unfortunately, half and half forms a thick film on top and interferes with smooth pouring of liquid. But for juices, flavored drinks, teas, etc., this is a very beautiful and very functional container. I make turmeric tea, which can stain plastic, but since it's glass I don't have to worry about that. The lid fits well and pours well. As a mobility impaired person, I like that although the carafe is made of glass, it is made of lighter glass and doesn't put any strain on the wrists. Also, being able to open the lid without having to remove it by gently pulling the tab in the lid makes it easier for me to use. Of course, thinner glass might mean it's more delicate, but that suits me. We still have a regular carafe and on the days my wrists get sore I can't use it because it's so heavy. This solves this problem.
