Absolutely normal; I wish it was more inclined towards the sink

Very good sink. My only complaint is that the floor doesn't slope enough to drain. The water drains off pretty slowly. slow enough that many of the droplets just sit on the bottom and dry out, leaving thin patches of water. Small bits of food will also stay at the bottom unless you focus on spilling them. The grid on the bottom protects the sink well from impact BUT also makes cleaning the above water more difficult. stains and food residue. I still prefer it, at least for now. The soap dispenser hole is the right size. Spring. a soap dispenser but not a dishwasher air gap which I would have preferred. I wasn't planning on using the hole for the soap dispenser and expected a lid to close it when not needed, but there wasn't one. In the end I put the soap dispenser on anyway and think it's ok. The included dryer is good, but not as handy as I was hoping. It's not really big enough to dry that many dishes on it, but if it were a little bigger it would take up too much space in the sink. Overall I find its size optimal and will use it for its intended purpose, but using it instead of a separate dryer is definitely a compromise. The water stains seem pretty hard to see. I didn't have this problem with my previous white porcelain sink. If I could go back in time I would buy a different porcelain sink, but overall I can't think of a better stainless steel sink than this one, especially at a price that was pretty decent when I bought it.
