First off, let's get the important things out of the way: this filament makes absolutely astonishing prints. Once you get the settings dialed in, you can make unbelievably wood-like objects. It even takes sanding, stains, and paints well.Getting the right settings can be a tad touchy. It prints easily at PLA temperatures, but you'll probably need to tune your retraction settings to avoid really serious stringing. After that, it's a breeze.However, there's one very significant catch. THIS FILAMENT IS ABRASIVE. If you run it through a standard brass nozzle, you'll destroy it (and your print quality) before you manage to finish the spool. You definitely need a hardened nozzle if you're going to be using this stuff. I learned this the hard way, unfortunately, after destroying a fairly low-quality nozzle in about half a spool. I've since upgraded to an Olson Ruby and it's printed fantastically every since.Keep in mind any other components you may have as well. Without thinking about it, I ran this through my filament runout sensor. Several prints later and it had destroyed the sensor by chewed a giant groove in the plastic housing and the arm of the switch. Cheap enough part to replace, but consider bypassing your sensor unless you have an optical one.Treat this like you would any other abrasive filament like carbon fiber or metallics and you'll be amazed at the prints yo
