I ran a rock around all the edges and eliminated some throwing problems. Except for this roughness, they're fairly square and true to one another. No wobble when holding 1-2-3 block or test square. It's the same quality I seem to find in most HHIP stuff. Good for squareness and precision and tends to be a bit rough in the finish area. I suppose you could buy maybe three sets of these blocks and finish them yourself for the price of a set of brand S or M which are probably pre-made. For a tool I work with all the time (scale, ruler, divider, etc.), factory processing might be more important. But for a V-block, it's out of my hand during use. It is attached to the table or stands on the stove. The most important thing is that it can be square and accurate. This one seems to be just that. One star deducted for catching up. But it's worth it for the obvious cost savings. Thanks - Lumpy
