Glassware Crowdsourcing Research Opportunity
"It's great when my husband brings me flowers," says my guilt-ridden wife. I agree that it's big and majestic and certainly in the shape of Aalto, but it's unfinished. As a chemist I have dealt with glassware and even simple blown glassware and this glassware is not fire polished. That means its edges are still razor sharp. It may be that our particular part missed this last step, but we won't be doing a trial purchase of some parts to find out. Perhaps we can use this forum to hear from others who CAREFULLY run their fingers over the edge and find it smooth or sharp?
