If you buy this blanket and expect a moving blanket like the kind you get from rental companies, you will be disappointed. This is a very light, thin moving blanket. Its thickness is about half that of a traditional heavy duty moving blanket. To be fair, the descriptions say "frugal" but also "professional" and "thick construction". It is by no means fat or professional in my opinion. Will it help protect your furniture when moving, well I assumed so, but not much more than any other blanket you might have laying around. It's a little quilted and made from a durable fabric, so it's well made, but that's where the resemblance to a good moving blanket ends. a little more thickness to absorb shock and muffle the sound a bit. So it's not enough for my purposes. I expected and need a much thicker duvet. I'm not entirely shocked by the cost to be honest, but I was expecting a little more based on the description. ok with the quality of this blanket. If you're expecting a thick, traditional, heavy-duty blanket, you'll be disappointed.
