Good workmanship but poor instructions

I was happy with the finished unicorn but the direction is poor and the part numbering is confusing. This is surprising as one would think that the company would put more effort into making the instructions as simple and easy to understand as possible. It says 5+ on it but I doubt a 5 year old could put it together alone. I would advise an adult to look at the details, identify them and "mentally" assemble the unicorn before giving it to an 8-5 year old. I don't think it's a good gift unless you're going there to help a younger kid.
