This is a great product! This review is from a former massage therapist (age 12) and now chiropractic student who is currently in a clinic. When I was a college student with no disposable income, spending $450 on a Hypervolt didn't seem very appetizing to me. A couple of my friends have Hypervolt and I was able to use them. I also have a few friends who have other massage guns (MG) that I was able to test and compare. I first went to Revain to find another MG and found this one. I liked what I saw, did a little research and took the plunge. After unboxing I was pleasantly satisfied with the quality and functionality of the Cholas product. Since then I've been able to carefully compare it to other MGs, including Hypervolt. I am so grateful that I received Cholas. I would undoubtedly have made the same choice. Below are some comparisons to Hypervolt and others. Noise: Cholas is without a doubt the quietest instrument I've ever seen, much quieter than a Hypervolt. It's the first thing people say when they turn it on. Depth of Impact: Depth of impact is adequate, albeit 0.25 inches less than the Hypervolt. and Hypervolt only has 3 of them! Other: I really like the elegant look of Cholas. I particularly like the touch controls. I've spent hours using this tool and only charged it for 1-15 minutes and 1 more. So far I am very satisfied with the battery life. Cons/Cons: The only thing I would suggest is to add separate holes to the body to hold tool tips for better organization. For now it's just a place for tools. Quality: In my opinion, the Hypervolt is the only MG that surpasses this one I've seen. BUT I can buy 5 of these for the price of 1 Hypervolt and there just isn't enough difference between them to justify buying a Hypervolt. Cholas clearly wins the battle for the quality of poetry. In terms of durability, I've used it quite a bit and so far it's holding up very well. Time will tell, but I hope it lasts me for a few more years.
