I bought these to hold backgrounds but when I'm not shooting I use them for other purposes. I can confirm that these little clamps have a firm hold. I tested them on my tablecloth in wind speeds of 80 km/h. The next morning the tablecloth was where I left it. Care must be taken when storing, the small orange pieces turn over and may pop out when closed. However, mine didn't show up when I checked it. I highly recommend these brackets. They are well made and feel good in the hand. The small clips are also well made with high-quality Velcro fasteners and cable ties. This will be a great addition to your clamping needs.
