Very nice damask knife at a fantastic price

Baking is my hobby, I cook every day. One thing I've noticed this year is that I'm cooking less because my knives get dull and can't stay sharp. I found this Damascus steel Santoku blade on some entry-level knives I had. And I've been checking out a lot of content on Knives while waiting to save up for a super good Japanese knife and figured I'd pull something good in the meantime. When I received the box I was immediately surprised at how nice the packaging was, as well as my girlfriend and how well made the knife was. There is no play and the olive wood handle feels very comfortable. The knife is very well balanced in my hand and I carry a santoku knife with me and it wobbles when cutting. I've used it a few times for dicing and onions and it just absolutely glides over onions and makes amazing cuts that my original knives don't give me. I've been using it for a few weeks now and haven't had to sharpen the blade or give it much attention as it's holding up. It doesn't allow food to stick to it, not even potatoes, due to intentions that don't allow suction. Everything about slicing with it is a dream and I use a santoku blade for many dishes and reserve my chef's knife. for large pieces of meat. And the best is damascus steel with its high quality and beautiful engraving pattern.
