I should have gotten one a year ago.

I bought this to replace an old dehumidifier that we had to manually drain and carry buckets of water upstairs to add an automatic pump function. We don't have a drain in the basement. Our sewer line goes out 5 feet. above the basement. And since we don't have any problems with water in the basement, we don't have a drainage pump either. It was something I should have done many years ago.
