Definitely Work: my feedback

So at first I thought a got a defective box. I had drank a few times, not many, each time spacing 3 drinks over a few hours with water. The strips always came up negative even when I had a tiny buzz. Yesterday however, I went to a beer, wine, and tequila festival. I’m 7 months post birth and I decided to have a good time. Well, in the course of 3 hours I had 4 margaritas 1/2 solo cup size, a 4oz beer, and a lot of tacos. Not the most responsible decision but the in-laws had the kids and I wanted to have a good time. I pumped at 3pm and by the time we got home at 4pm I tested the milk. As you can see from the picture it was definitely positive for alcohol. I tried dipping the strip in and putting a drop on a another strip. Both were positive and I pitched the milk. I pumped again at 7pm and the strips came back negative. Definitely happy with this product.

Pros
  • Alcohol in breast milk can affect a baby’s sleep, feeding patterns, and development. The Upspring Milkscreen Test Strips can help prevent these issues
Cons
  • Could lead to misunderstanding and misinterpretation of test results if mothers are not properly educated about the limitations of the product
