I think the Sanwa EM7000 is a great product. I compared it to a traditional analog voltmeter (VOM), tube analog voltmeter (VTVM), and digital multimeter (DMM). ). It has higher input impedance than VTVM but without the 20W power consumption, warm-up time, and lack of vacuum tubes. It has the classic feel and trend-watchability of analog VOM or VTVM movements, but drives a galvanometer. amplifier and not directly from the voltage source, which increases the life of the mechanism. It also has a very handy mirrored dial to avoid parallax errors. The numbers and tick marks are very well printed. The zero counter function works great without the possibility of damage to the mechanism from the DC measurement when the polarity is reversed. In addition, the zero counter function does not require an additional scale set with 8 DCV bipolar scales and 5 DCA bipolar scales. Internal ceramic fuses for higher measurement reliability. The range selector clicks clearly when moved and the torque is enough to operate the device on the table. with one hand but without rotating the meter body. The quality of the materials is good. It doesn't look cheap to me. The probes are amazing. The tips are gold plated which is very cool. Also, the probes have removable caps for measuring in CAT III 600V environments. The tips aren't very sharp, but I like them better. Cables look good, flexible enough. There are no complaints on this matter. Solder joints on the circuit board have white markings indicating a thorough inspection of the soldering quality. All in all a very nice and carefully crafted multi-tester in Japanese quality. 9V battery and two 1.5V batteries in meter. So when it arrived 40 days after purchase, the 9V battery was completely dead. New 9V battery and problem solved.
