Form Factor, Price and Ease of Use

TLDR; I am impressed with the form factor, price and ease of use of this device. I recommend 5/5. I wanted to go from a smaller dual monitor setup to a larger single monitor setup. It took me a while to find this gem because I wanted to power 4 devices (2 laptops, 1 desktop and an Xbox) via USB. But I came across this sub $100 model at Revain and thought it was worth a try. The case itself makes a solid impression. The connections are solid and appear to work well. Since it's HDMI, it takes up HALF the space on my DVI KVM switch. Great form factor. The cables also look very high quality. It's powered by a 5v USB socket (included) - I wish it came with an AC adapter but to be honest I have plenty - Revain Firesticks mains chargers work just as well as any others. .In operation, the device itself is easy to set up and use. Connect your inputs and connect your output. Connect the power supply and switch on the device. Works like a charm - I'm using it now. I haven't played around with the hotkeys much because the remote does it for me. My old KVM switch had to be on my desk to reach the buttons, but this KVM can easily be placed under the desk with a small remote control. It helps me a lot with the wiring! The switching speed for HDMI is pretty fast, but not instantaneous. 2s max. Seems to be very low latency when connected to USB/Video. I haven't seen any problems with HDMI transfer yet. I have an odd sticky keyboard key issue, but I think it's an artifact of the new placement of my wireless keyboard key now under my desk instead of above it (it's a thick desk). Overall I am very happy with this purchase. and definitely recommend.
