The product came in a box with a broken seal and the label said 'New' but the case was cracked and the screen scratched like hell. I hesitate to turn it on, did it with care and the damn thing will never start heating the water. My tank is 70 degrees and the damn thing didn't light up or read that the water was 70 degrees (set it to 82). Trying to set the temperature is crazy because the instructions are vague but "seem" easy (until you try to set it). The product is complete junk. I don't know how some people on here said it worked beautifully but I would never risk using this product again. Absolute waste of time and money. PERIOD!
